The next Yarmouth Chapter 70 and Net School Spending Workshop will be held on Friday afternoon, August 6, 2010, at the Yarmouth Police Station in Yarmouth, MA. This workshop will focus on how your local contribution, Chapter 70 distribution and FY11 final required net school spending are calculated.

This workshop will update you on (1) the final FY11 numbers, (2) how your community’s FY11 final numbers are computed and (3) equity issues based on the FY11 final numbers.   Like all net school spending workshops, this session will review your district’s numbers by detailing the foundation budget, local contribution, State Chapter 70 distribution, and net school spending numbers. Bring your laptops so you can learn the formula in a small, informal setting.

Please join us on Friday afternoon, August 6, 2010, in a relaxed setting at the Yarmouth Police Station by completing and faxing or mailing the attached registration form.
