The FY14 Advanced Net School Spending Workshop will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, February 12, 2013, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Assabet Valley Regional Vocational School in Marlborough.  This workshop is an advanced session on net school spending.  This workshop is recommended for individuals who have a basic understanding of the foundation budget, local contributions, Chapter 70 distributions, required and actual net school spending and the like. Prior net school spending workshop attendance would be helpful, but not mandatory.

This workshop will focus on how your local contribution, Chapter 70 distribution, and FY14 preliminary net school spending are calculated. This workshop will also walk you through net school spending for regions. Bring your laptops and follow along to compute your numbers. Learn with others how the FY14 preliminary net school spending formula works.
